I created this journal as a gentle companion for that remembering —
for the woman who gives so much of herself to others,
yet rarely feels permission to rest, feel, or simply be.

Each page invites you to reconnect with your own wisdom, your own rhythm, your own quiet truth.

I’m Summer Williams, a Holistic Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Listening To The Birds, LLC.

My work weaves together mind, body, and spirit — helping adults improve their mental health through multidimensional, holistic practices. My background is in Women’s Health and Psychiatric Mental Health, and while I love working with a range of clients, I have a special passion for helping women remember their worth.

For much of my younger life, I didn’t know how to offer myself compassion. It was easier to turn my pain inward — to be angry,  guilty or frustrated with myself rather than acknowledge the hurt I felt. I used to joke that I had a “PhD in self-hatred.” Looking back, I see now that I was simply trying to cope.

Healing is a continual process, but it began when I started to listen — softly, without judgment — to what was actually within me. That’s when I remembered that self-worth isn’t something to earn or fix. It’s something to integrate back, one gentle moment at a time.

I created Self-Worth from Within and this free 7-Day Mini Journal to offer women a quiet space to begin remembering — to slow down, breathe, and come home to themselves.
